college-fashionista: We came. We saw. We FryeSpotted. Union Square on Saturday was an inspiration stomping ground for young trendsetters enjoying the quintessential fall day. I, along with my fabulous NYC Style Gurus, hit the streets running to find people whose fashion was “Frye” worthy. We styled, we shoot, we got people hooked on Frye’s products and we gave away a pair of the Campus Zip 10 Boots! Workout Apparel Since I got certified as a kickboxing instructor I am teaching classes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; and running Tuesdays and Thursdays. So, I am in a lot of workout apparel lately! I love the Champion line at Target, it’s cute and affordable. The sports bras come in like 10 different colors and I have every one. They are so comfortable, and colorful. They also have spaghetti racerback tanks with built in bras that are amazing, and lot’s of great pants. My sneakers of choice are the Nike Free Run +, I have the Livestrong ones. I can’t emphasize enough how comfortable these sneakers are. I’m so obsessed with them…they come in black, pink, purple, and teal as well. To sum it up, if you are looking for cute, comfortable sportswear go to Target!!! And the sneakers can be found at Nike.com, Dicks Sporting Goods, and Foot Locker. Happy Exercising :)

Naughty Monkey Women’s Heaven On Earth Open-Toe Pump

Love these shoes. They have so many things going for them, extremely on trend with the following key elements:

  • Neutral Shade- the spring neutral trend has carried over into summer, for very good reason. Incorporating any neutral color into your outfits this summer will guarantee a chic and classic look. Whether it’s your shoes, accessories, or actual garments this is a “go to” trend for anyone.
  • Lace Up- We are seeing this lace up trend in all types of shoes this summer. Flats, sandals, heels….you name it, they have put a lace on it. I love this added detail, because it gives your shoe a menswear look that is also a style staple this summer. Look for this trend to carry over into Fall Winter 2011, not only in the shoes, but garments as well.
  • Cut Outs- The cut outs in these shoes give an otherwise full coverage shoe feel more fit for the summer heat. Without the cut outs, these shoes might be more suited for fall.

These heels can be paired with a red carpet dress, like Rosie Huntington-Whitely in Burberry, with Alaia heels. Or you can go for a more casual look pairing them with a white button down shirt, and some denim cuffed shorts.

Tan Towel If you know me, you know I’ve always been all about the fake tanners. Pretty much since middle school, when I would forget to do my feet, and have awkward, unnatural “sock tans.” I am still a little bit of a self tan freak, since my fair skin refuses to tan..ever, and I am smart enough now to realize that spending hours in the sun will not do anything for me except increase my chances of skin cancer. Anyways, another Hautelook.com purchase for me, “Tan Towels” from the company Look Great Naked. I’m getting this $68 set, for 40% off :) I have done some research on this brand of self tanner, and I’m pleased with the reviews! Let’s just hope they are as good as everyone reports.
